The competition will remain in the same format as previous years. The idea will be for the fencers to The arrive in Dieppe on the Saturday, stay overnight and fence on the Sunday.

Accommodation

Accommodation should be available if required for competitiors and parents at Herbergement Les Roches in Dieppe on the Saturday night. Dieppe town council are prepared to provide this accommodation at a rate of approx 13€50/£8 per person.

Fees

All British entrants should contact the organiser or submit an entry form, by 30th April 2007. An accommodation commitment fee of ten pounds per person is required from those wishing to stay at Les Roches. It only be cashed in the event of the person failing to turn up and will be used to reimburse the Town Council and Dieppe Fencing Club for costs incured.

An entry fee of 8 € is payable on the day.

Other nationalities should contact the organiser to discuss arrangements.

In order to facilitate the smooth running of this competition, it is requested that groups of five or more fencers should offer to provide a referee if possible. Referees will be provided with light refreshments.

Regulations

The regulations, age categories, blade sizes etc, are defined under the French rules. Age categories are as in the U.K. that is age on the 1st January of the year of the competition. U15(d.o.b 1992-1993) size 5, u13(d.o.b 1994-1995) size 2,U11(d.o.b 1996-1997) size 0.
The British Entry will be limited to approximately fifty foilists and twenty épéeists. Should the entry be oversubscribed, priority will go to fencers from Hertfordshire.
